Job Title

Lead with fantastic technology accounts at a leading strategic communication company in Australia.

  • With over 20 years of experience supporting companies build their profiles in the local market, we are now looking for a tech savvy media and communication consultant to join our dedicated team.

The successful candidate will have opportunities to work on other B2B campaigns and programs, as well as take the lead on running communication campaigns working with industry experts on high profile technologies such as information security, cloud, telecommunications, and smart grids.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to fast track their career in tech PR, with a flat team structure and hands-on approach. You will be responsible for:

  1. Providing strategic planning and direction to raise clients' profiles across mainstream, business, and trade media
  2. Project managing complex campaigns and implementing activity on time and budget
  3. Drafting client material including media releases, case studies, and opinion pieces
  4. Delivering results beyond expectations and showing accountability through strong reporting, analytical review of results, and counselling on recommendations

We are looking for a candidate with at least six years of PR or journalism experience in the IT space, tertiary qualifications in a related field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand complex technologies and communicate broad business benefits.

This role is ideal for someone who is ready to hit the ground running and demonstrate initiative, with a passion for technology and public relations.
