Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced technologist to implement and configure a suite of products used for mining operations. If you have expertise in implementing large technology projects, enjoy working with diverse technologies, and have excellent communication skills, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring systems and solutions to meet commercial contracts and mining business needs. You will support dealers and customers during installation, configuration, debugging, testing, and integration of projects with other systems.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team that is transforming mining operations using cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure system modules according to customer's business requirements and specifications.
  • Plan and execute comprehensive testing, including integrated testing and customer acceptance testing, to ensure the system meets required standards.
  • Demonstrate ability to investigate and resolve technical issues, as well as respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Provide technical training to end-users and system administrators on implemented solution.
  • Undertake implementation and integration tasks for both internal and external customers.
  • Contribute to creation and maintenance of documentation, training materials, and functional specifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in running complex technology implementation projects, a proven record of collaborative experiences, strong execution phase of project skills, and understanding of stakeholder engagement importance.

A Bachelor's Degree is required. Desired Skills and Abilities include experience of deploying Mine Haul Truck Fleet Management and Mobile Mining Equipment Automation technologies, previous experience in Mining and/or deploying complex technology systems within large organisations, extensive hands-on experience with technical software system implementation, preferably in a mining environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role requires Australian/New Zealand citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency and up to 5% travel to mine sites across Australia and overseas.

A competitive rate is on offer for this initial 12-month contract with strong possibility of extensions or conversion to a permanent position offering a career path for high performers.
