Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our team. This role provides the opportunity to apply industry principles, best practices and sound judgment in delivering project outcomes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for working within multidisciplinary teams to expand their experience and capabilities. They will utilize their technical expertise to prepare specifications, develop engineering scopes and conduct design reviews to deliver optimal solutions.

  • Engage in the entire design lifecycle from concept and detailed design to commissioning and handover.
  • Develop technical specifications, equipment sizing and perform calculations.
  • Prepare engineering deliverable lists.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals. You should also have at least 5 years of experience and RPEQ certification is advantageous. Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is desired.

  • A working knowledge of Australian Standards.
  • Experience in heavy industry projects such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Distribution.
  • Experience in detailed electrical installation scoping and reviews.
