Chief Academic Officer: Academic Excellence and Future Pathways

The College is seeking a visionary Academic Leader to drive academic excellence and future pathways. As the Dean of Academics & Future Pathways, you will provide strategic oversight of academic administration, compliance, student achievement, and future pathways.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement academic strategies to enhance student wellbeing and performance
- Guide course selections, manage transitions, and foster collaborative programs with other educational institutions
- Oversee staff and teams, including the Future Pathways Co-ordinator and Heads of Department
- Ensure alignment with national compliance standards and best practices
This full-time leadership position will include both a teaching component and a position allowance. The role offers scope to influence and shape academic culture and practice at the College, while working closely with academic and pastoral leaders.
Requirements- Significant experience in secondary education
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and academic registration guidelines
- Proven ability to analyse data, implement strategies, and provide academic mentoring
- Demonstrated leadership in managing staff, building teams, and guiding future pathways initiatives
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills
The successful applicant will have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded. They will also require a commitment to upholding the College's values.
