Graduate OpportunitiesWe currently have opportunities in our 2027 Graduate Program for several Graduates who have completed or will have completed by the end of 2026 a Bachelor of Engineering (major in Electrical Engineering preferred). These positions will ideally be based in Port Macquarie, however other locations in our geographical footprint may be considered.
Work with industry experts to have a direct impact in providing a safe, reliable and resilient electricity network whilst also being part of the energy transition to renewables, providing great outcomes for customers in regional NSW. Undertake rotations across the different areas of the business, including Asset Engineering, Network Planning and Design.
You'll be part of a program with Engineers Australia and have mentorship from within Essential Energy to develop and reach your goals. Your ability to take advantage of a fast-paced environment in varied parts of the business will build your technical expertise and professional networks ensuring great opportunities now and in the future.

The Graduate Program officially starts in February 2027, however, an earlier start is available is available for candidates who are keen to start sooner.
