Assistant Manager, Taxation Services

Careerlink People Solutions is proud to partner with a leading accounting firm to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled Assistant Manager - Taxation Services to join their dynamic team.

This role presents a chance to work with a high-performing organisation specialising in audit, tax, and advisory services. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to a portfolio of high-profile clients, leveraging their knowledge of taxation issues and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining strong client relationships and engagement
  • Providing tax consulting services to various divisions of the practice
  • Offering general tax advice and guidance
  • Preparing Private Binding Rulings and Tax Effect Accounting Calculations
  • Assisting with International Tax matters, including expansion offshore and Controlled Foreign Company regime
  • Supporting M&A transactions and restructures

Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualification with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting, or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to build strong relationships
  • Desire to work in corporate tax compliance and advisory in a public practice environment
