About this RoleWe are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team as a key member of the accounting department. Your primary responsibility will be managing client portfolios, providing expert advice, and delivering high-quality accounting services.
Main Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, primarily in the finance industry, including partnerships, self-managed super funds, trusts, and companies.
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents.
- Offer expert guidance to clients on accounting and taxation matters.
- Collaborate with junior staff, providing guidance and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CA or CPA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
- At least five years of public practice accounting experience for senior roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software, especially Xero and/or Class.
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and accounting standards.
- A competitive salary up to $110,000 plus superannuation for senior roles, commensurate with experience.
- A Christmas bonus is provided annually.
