Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in the Blacktown area. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

About the Role:

As a Care Worker, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:
  • Providing domestic assistance, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping
  • Offering social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Providing respite and emotional support
  • Assisting with social support and transport to appointments
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
  • Some experience as a care or support worker, including experience with personal care
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle - travel is part of the role
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Availability to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday
