Manufacturing Leadership Position

The Manufacturing Supervisor is a strategic leadership role that works alongside and supervises the Fixed Plant Production Operators, Shift Supervisors and Yard Staff ensuring their duties are completed in a safe and efficient manner for the effective operation of the manufacturing process.
About the RoleThis role provides operational support and training to fixed plant operators as and when required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing or production facility and strong knowledge of machinery operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Shift Supervisors to monitor prestart checks of machinery to ensure any problems are addressed.
- Ensure production equipment is being operated in a safe and responsible manner.
- Understand and follow all operational procedures and ensure they are understood and adhered to by Leading Hands and fixed plant operators.
- Monitor equipment and immediately stop if any mechanical problem occurs
- Liaise with maintenance staff to ensure regular maintenance and servicing are completed.
- Oversee quality control and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing or production facility;
- Previous knowledge and experience in machinery operations (highly desirable);
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations;
- Certificate IV in WHS (Highly Desirable)
- WA High Risk licence Class LF (Preferable);
- Demonstrated safety leadership experience;
- Strong Communication and leadership skills and ability to motivate a work team;
