Job Description

The Technology Operational Risk Specialist plays a pivotal role in enabling technology teams to confidently navigate the risk management framework.

  • First-line risk support across Technology & Operations aligns with Group Risk Management Frameworks, encompassing:
  • Risk profiling and assessments for enhanced decision-making
  • Managing control issues and risk events through proactive measures
  • Overseeing third-party risk governance for optimal outcomes
  • Enhancing reporting and oversight of critical systems for informed business decisions
  • Engaging Executive-level stakeholders on technology risk management matters for strategic alignment
  • Contribution to the delivery of the Technology & Operations Risk Culture Plan for sustained success
  • Supporting the identification, assessment, and automation of technology controls, including AI-driven solutions
  • Enabling technology teams to independently apply the Risk Management Framework through intuitive tools and resources
  • Leveraging internal and external data to deliver forward-looking technology risk insights for informed decision-making
  • Acting as a risk SME on projects, initiatives, remediation, and continuous improvement activities
  • Collaborating with internal SMEs to support technology assessments and assurance for robust risk management
  • Mentoring and upskilling junior team members for knowledge transfer and growth
