We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a Rehabilitation Counsellor. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.
Job Description- Provide initial assessment, psychometric testing and brief interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to obtaining or sustaining employment
- Perform new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, recovery support
- Conduct initial assessments with injured workers and case management for return to same employment
- Assess and report on psychological functional capacities / complete psychological functional assessments
- Assess and make recommendations on effects of mental health and medical conditions on ability to work
- Hold a degree in Masters in Rehabilitation Counselling
- Be eligible for ASORC or RCAA accreditation upon graduating
- Have graduated in the last 12 months or be graduating in 2025
- Agree to a pre-employment national criminal check prior to employment
- Have full Australian working rights
