About the Role

We are seeking a Laundry Assistant to provide high-quality laundry services for our residents in a residential aged care home. Our goal is to deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, and we need someone who shares this vision.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing laundry services including collecting and washing personal clothing, folding and sorting, distributing personal items back to resident rooms
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • A reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
