Civil Engineering Project Leader

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our civil engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects across various industry sectors.
Types of projects include access roads, demolition, excavation, retention, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation, recycling, crushing, piling, foundations etc.
The project works will primarily be of a civil nature with typical values from $2.5m to $10m but can go up to $40m+
Responsibilities:
- Tender preparation and planning
- Scheduling of construction activities
- Management of site project teams safely
- Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
- Preparation of management reports
- Resolving site issues in a timely manner
- Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
- Coordinating internal and external resources
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
- 5 – 15+ years' experience in managing civil construction projects with a project value of $2m to $40m+
- Project management qualifications will be advantageous
- Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
- Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
- Effective problem solving abilities
- Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
- High level of organisation and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
