Key Role:
The Middle Years Year Level Leader is a pivotal position that requires an individual with exceptional leadership and instructional skills. As a strategic member of the school's Leadership team, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and reviewing the school's Annual Implementation Plans.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and execute effective instructional strategies to support teacher growth and development, focusing on enhancing pedagogy and fostering a culture of collaboration.
- Oversee annual performance plans for staff groups, incorporating Talent Management Framework principles or similar middle leader roles.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues to ensure alignment with Department values and professional standards, promoting a cohesive and supportive work environment.
- Contribute to whole-school professional learning initiatives, critically reflecting on practice to inform teaching approaches and drive continuous improvement.
