Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of Financial Reporting: Manage financial reporting responsibilities for relevant ledgers within the EMEA region.
  • Month-End Close: Ensure a timely and accurate month-end close process.
  • Journal Entries: Calculate and process monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monthly Results Analysis: Analyse and provide insightful commentary on monthly results.
  • Group Audit Support: Support the group audit process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply continuous improvement techniques and identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

Requirements:

  • A professional accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant, CPA, or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in an IT or software company is highly desirable.
  • ERP Systems: Strong knowledge of large ERP systems (Net Suite preferred).
  • Technical Accounting: Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS and AASB.
  • Project and Time Management: Excellent project and time management skills to deliver results within deadlines.
