We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights & Reporting Analyst to join our team at Metcash. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business departments across the Food pillar to deliver data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions.

As a Data Insights & Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for engaging with senior stakeholders to qualify, prioritize, and deliver reports, dashboards, and insights that meet their needs. You will design, develop, and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI, and leverage your technical skills to extract data from Microsoft Azure and analyze internal data sources.

You will also utilize your strong reporting and dashboard development skills to develop and automate engaging and visually appealing insights. If you have experience in stakeholder engagement, strong analytical and reporting skills, and a passion for data storytelling, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

About You
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement with ability to cultivate, grow, and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience and ability to be accountable for the data produced, coupled with strong data modelling and commercial acumen.
  • Experience in UI visual design, design principles, and data storytelling.
  • Experience working with large data sets and complex data models.
  • Proficient ability to extract data from various database technologies e.g. Azure & AWS Redshift etc.
