Job Opportunity:

The role of a Clinical Solicitor involves delivering an efficient and effective legal service to clients, providing high-quality advice and casework. The successful candidate will supervise and instruct law students undertaking professional/clinical practice units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional legal services in accordance with legislation and policy guidelines.
  • Contribute to the delivery of professional/clinical legal practice units to Deakin law students, ensuring they receive comprehensive training.
  • Maintain strong connections with community organisations and potential client sources to foster growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Substantial experience in Family Law.
  • A current unrestricted Australian practising certificate is essential.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) and a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor Degree with subsequent relevant work experience are required.
