Job Overview

The Guest Experience Host plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by providing exceptional service and ensuring seamless operations at the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and registering of owners and guests
  • Providing information on local area attractions
  • Completion of all department-related paperwork
  • Utilizing communication equipment, including telephones, facsimiles, and computers
  • Meeting guests face-to-face to generate sales appointments for our resorts and via livestream
  • Establishing commonality and building rapport with customers to ensure an exceptional experience is delivered
  • Collaborating with the resort operations team to provide a high level of service and a seamless transition for owners and guests through the check-in process
  • Clearly articulating the benefits of traveling within our community
  • Meeting targets and KPIs as set by the business
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar hotel position
  • A genuine passion for customer service and the local area
  • Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude
  • Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards
  • High levels of computer literacy
  • Previous experience with a property management system (PMS) is advantageous
  • The ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace
  • A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public, and school holidays
