Our organisation is seeking two new directors to join our team as non-executive volunteers. As a director, you will be responsible for upholding the integrity of our environmental campaigning organisation and ensuring that our mission is clear and relevant.

About Us

Our organisation is the leading independent environmental campaigning organisation in the world. We use non-violent direct action and creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems and promote solutions that are essential to a green and peaceful future.

We have an annual turnover of approximately $22 million and operate as a charity registered with the relevant authorities. Our values are independence, bearing witness, and non-violent direct action.

About the Position

The board meets at least six times per year, both in-person and virtually. Directors are expected to commit approximately 15-20 hours per month to our work. You will also be required to be a member of our General Assembly, which meets once per year.

We are looking for individuals with skills in finance, digital marketing, and cultural context of Pasifika people. You must be able to fully commit to our mission and values, display leadership, and work collaboratively and cooperatively. It would be advantageous to have experience in corporate governance, environmental campaigning, fundraising, or research and/or scientific literacy.

What We Offer

All expenses for the board meeting will be covered by us. For candidates that require financial compensation, remuneration can be discussed with the Remuneration Committee during the interview process. We welcome unique contributions from all people.
