About This Opportunity:

The role of Procurement Manager is a critical position within an organization, responsible for developing and executing strategic category plans and procurement frameworks that meet client needs.

This involves managing end-to-end procurement activities, including market approaches, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategic category plans and procurement frameworks
  • Managing end-to-end procurement activities, including market approaches and contract negotiations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement in vendor performance and procurement processes
  • Identifying market trends and translating data into meaningful analysis for decision-making
  • Presenting analytical recommendations and regular reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizen to obtain AGSVA clearance
  • 4+ years' experience in procurement, consulting, or contract management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing timelines
  • Experience working with senior management stakeholders
