Job Overview
My client continues to grow within the FMCG/Food production industry are looking for two A-Grade Industrial Electrician with some mechanical aptitude to join their team on either their Afternoon or Night shift. In this role reporting to the Maintenance Manager successful candidates will carry out breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance and installations across automated production lines.
Responsibilities –

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on PLC-controlled machinery
  • Assist with installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new plant and equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site-specific safety procedures.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and automation teams to resolve breakdowns and improve line efficiency.
  • Complete maintenance records and reporting using CMMS systems
Requirements –
  • A-Grade Electrical license
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within food manufacturing industry in an Electrical, Electromechanical or Dual Trade position.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities in high-speed or automated production environments.
  • Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and preventative maintenance programs
