Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Accountant. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.

You will also be responsible for preparing BAS/GST/FBT Returns, analysing financial information to assist clients in minimising their tax, and liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to resolve disputes.

Additionally, you will need to meet lodgement deadlines and requirements, provide support with tax planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting, and train and mentor junior accountants.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of Australian tax and business services experience.
  • Bachelor of Commerce/Business or equivalent qualification.
  • Completed or working towards completing your Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Proficient in using MYOB and Xero accounting software.
  • Passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised with good attention to detail and a growth mindset.
