About the Role:

This is a key opportunity for a dynamic Project Manager to join a respected civil contracting firm with over 20 years of success in delivering major infrastructure projects across New South Wales. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to read and interpret contracts, and a solid understanding of relevant OH&S and QE systems. With a proven track record in civil infrastructure, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and scheduling daily project activities, while monitoring project expenditure against budget to ensure financial efficiency.

About the Position:

As a Project Manager, the successful candidate will report to the Construction Manager and take full responsibility for civil projects valued around $5 million. While the primary focus will be in the Castle Hill region, occasional travel to sites outside Sydney may be required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable success in delivering projects on time, within budget, and safely, and will possess excellent communication skills to foster strong client relationships. The successful candidate will also be responsible for mentoring, coaching, and leading their team, fostering their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and plan daily project activities.
  • Monitor project expenditure against budget.
  • Prepare and implement a comprehensive programme of works.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications and guidelines.
  • Mentor and lead the team.
