    Role Overview
    At Baldwin Living - Seabeach Gardens, we offer assistance to our residents from morning until evening, every day of the week. We currently have morning shifts available on select days, with additional shifts available upon request. Our Personal Care Assistants deliver care to residents within the community and may also assist in external settings, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
    Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
    • Providing in-home personal care and daily living support, including hygiene assistance, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
    • Delivering care in alignment with individualized care plans
    • Facilitating community-based recreational and social activities
    • Offering transportation and support for shopping and appointments
    • Communicating with management regarding any resident concerns or changes in health status
    Candidate Profile
    To ensure the best experience for our residents, we are looking for reliable and caring candidates with a friendly and positive demeanor. Ideal candidates will possess:
    • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
    • A minimum of 6 months experience in a personal care role
    • Experience working with elderly individuals with chronic health issues, including dementia
    • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
    • A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the evolving needs of residents
    • Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for seniors in care settings
    • Flexibility in work hours
    • Physical capability to assist residents with mobility
    • Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
