About the RoleThis full-time leadership position combines technical excellence with strategic business development and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead client-facing project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Manage internal design teams and oversee engineering assessments across complex, multi-client projects.
- Represent our organization in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings to enhance our market presence.
- Deliver technically sound and innovative Fire designs, reports, and specifications across sectors including health, defence, high-rise, industrial, and education.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in a design consultancy environment, with a strong track record of client engagement and project leadership.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or equivalent.
- Accreditation in NSW (Certifier - Fire Safety) - formerly C10 Category.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of delivery.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for building client relationships and growing business pipelines.
- High level of technical expertise in fire safety design, analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
