Sustainability Specialist

At New Hope Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Environmental Advisor.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on environmental matters to support the delivery of our environmental obligations, objectives, and goals.
- Coordinated EIA activities, monitoring programs, and facilitate land access requirements for our sites.
- Assist with statutory and sustainability reporting, project work, approval advice, exploration tenement rehabilitation, and various audits.
- Interact with stakeholders including government representatives, non-government organisations, and the community regarding our environmental activities.
- Support the Manager and Principal Environmental Advisors in delivering environmental projects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the environmental management system to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Maintain education and knowledge of legislative changes, new ideas, and trends within the environmental field.
This role requires a minimum of 3 years experience within a mining or heavy industry background and a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
