About the Role

We are seeking an experienced educator to take on the role of Science Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching and leadership to make a real difference in the classroom and beyond.

The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of an engaging Science curriculum, support colleagues in refining their practice, and lead initiatives that promote curiosity, problem-solving, and achievement across the faculty. They will also have the opportunity to build valuable leadership experience in areas such as staff development, curriculum planning, and whole-school contribution.

This role combines day-to-day leadership with long-term career growth, allowing the successful candidate to shape the learning experiences of students today and strengthen their professional profile as an educational leader of tomorrow.

Job Description:
  • Develop and deliver engaging Science curricula that meet the needs of all students.
  • Support colleagues in refining their practice and leading initiatives that promote curiosity, problem-solving, and achievement across the faculty.
  • Lead the development and implementation of whole-school initiatives that promote excellence in education.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure consistency and continuity of programs and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration.
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
