Deliver Cloud Excellence as a Cloud Infrastructure Manager

A career-defining opportunity has arisen for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Australia. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement scalable cloud services that meet the needs of our customers.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and deploying operational tools to automate processes and improve efficiency
  • Developing and mentoring a high-performing team of engineers
  • Working closely with engineering teams to build and manage large-scale cloud services
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to diagnose and resolve customer issues
  • Tracking service health and identifying potential problems before they occur

You will work alongside leading experts in distributed systems, leveraging Agile development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring tools, DNS, runlevel management tools, and Git.

A typical day in this role involves designing solutions that make efficient use of cloud resources, bringing a detail-oriented approach and excellent problem-solving skills, backed by a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure design and delivery.

You will drive engineering deliverables through influence rather than authority, manage repair requests in a high-volume environment, and respond to high-severity events. Regular presentations to senior leadership will require you to synthesize problems and solutions into a simple and consumable manner.
