Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and have a background in food manufacturing or FMCG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns
  • Set up and adjust equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve faults
  • Ensure safety and compliance
  • Continuously improve processes
  • Document and report on work activities
  • Support and train colleagues
  • Perform general workshop duties

The role involves working with various equipment, including Multivac, Mondini, Dematic systems, robots, and Bosch vacuum pumps.

In the first six months, top priorities include mastering pump disassembly and assembly, diagnosing and resolving pneumatics and hydraulic issues, and effectively servicing and overhauling gearboxes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Background in food manufacturing or FMCG
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve faults
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
