We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our Taxation division in our Brisbane CBD office.
As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory and compliance services to individuals and businesses, ensuring they understand and manage state, federal, and international tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Tax Partners and Managers to deliver high-quality client work
- Prepare and review company income tax returns, trust returns, and individual tax returns
- Develop and review Tax Effect Accounting calculations
- Prepare and review Fringe Benefits Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements
- Conduct research and prepare advice or position papers on various tax issues
Requirements:
- Accounting degree (BCom or BBus) with a dual law degree considered advantageous
- 3+ years of experience in a corporate tax team in an accounting firm
- Completed or near completion of the CA program or Masters of Tax
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients
- Ability to work independently or as part of a larger engagement team
