About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Expert to join our team at Mazars. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-level tax advice to clients across a diverse range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tax advisory services to local and international clients
- Work across a diverse range of industries, including mergers and acquisitions, tax structuring, and succession planning
- Undertake tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation
- Draft advice for clients in relation to various Australian taxation issues
- Liaise and negotiate with the ATO on behalf of clients
- Preparation and review of tax returns for Trusts, Companies, Partnership and Individuals
About You:
We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, a compliance mindset, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have a Bachelor of Laws or Tax, or both, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Australian Tax consulting or legal experience.
