We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our retail team.

Job Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who possesses great commercial awareness, the ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, think on their feet, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will be responsible for assisting the shop manager in handling sales, managing donations, maintaining store standards, and providing excellent customer experience. You will also be expected to create a pleasant and helpful environment for customers, colleagues, and volunteers.

The successful candidate will have previous retail experience, with a focus on driving sales, and an understanding of high street retail fashion. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

We require the ideal candidate to have experience of working with the public, managing cash transactions, and maintaining accurate records. A strong sense of initiative and adaptability is essential in this role.

In addition to your retail experience, you will need to possess good organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively. You will also need to understand safe working practices in a retail environment and have a valid qualification in these areas if possible.
