Electrical Technician Job Description">

This job involves the repair and maintenance of electrical power generation systems. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with these systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical power generation systems
  • Maintain and clean service vehicles and tools
  • Train apprentices in electrical work
  • Coordinate jobs and responsibilities within the team
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Apprentice-trained Power Generation/Electrical Technician or equivalent
  • Diploma/Certificate from a relevant technical institution
  • Current relevant electrical certification/tickets
  • Basic knowledge of power generation products
  • High Voltage/Low Voltage experience preferred

  • Trade certification required to work in NSW

  • Full time/38 hours per week

  • Job involves working at heights, confined spaces and manual handling

As an Electrical Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on complex electrical power generation systems and develop your skills and knowledge in this field.

You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

They will also have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
