We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Fitter to join our client, a local manufacturer with a strong reputation for design and manufacturing products for the mining, logistics, infrastructure, and agriculture sectors. As a Hydraulic Fitter, you will have the opportunity to work with leading-edge systems and technology.

The role involves providing fitting skills in the production and refurbishment of varied hydraulic components. This includes accurately completing documentation, taking meaningful photos, identifying job and damaged/worn parts, and installing appropriate components in repairs. You will also be responsible for testing and recording hydraulic equipment performance, ensuring all required documentation is completed and filed in the appropriate location.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to carry out fault diagnosis and provide practical solutions to complex technical issues. You will also need to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy work area, as per weekly cleaning/maintenance schedules.

What We're Looking For
  • Trade Qualifications as a Fitter Machinist
  • Post Trade Fluid Power Qualifications (favourable)
  • Experience Rebuilding Hydraulic Pumps and Motors & Valving
  • Sound knowledge of current repair methods
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, technical drawings, specifications, and supplier catalogues
