Job Description:

The MH-60R Seahawk Romeo helicopter fleet requires dedicated support to ensure its mission readiness and airworthiness.

As the Deputy Product Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering logistics, contract, and maintenance support to the organisation.

You will lead a dynamic team, working closely with industry partners and Navy to directly support and deliver critical Defence capability in support of Australia's national interests.

">Role Context:

The Romeo Enterprise Office supports the MH-60R Seahawk capability, primarily located at HMAS Albatross, Nowra. This opportunity works in a combination of traditional Defence contracting and Foreign Military Sales commercial environments.

">Responsibilities:
  • Lead, plan, and manage human and physical resources, focusing on strategic objectives and continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert policy advice and implement relevant policies; manage key stakeholder relationships, identifying expectations and concerns.
  • Act as delivery agent for integrated logistics, contract management support, and maintenance outcomes with a focus on MH-60R availability and readiness.
  • Maintain inclusive and collaborative working environment and ensure compliant, effective outcomes.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships with Australian Defence, US government and industry partners to deliver timely advice and the MH-60R capability.
  • Attend customer and contractor weekly meetings in person to ensure the best outcomes for the MH-60R capability.
  • Apply judgement to achieve critical outcomes; demonstrate integrity and transparency.
