The role of a Senior Clinician involves providing high-level clinical expertise to individuals in complex, high-risk situations. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering interventions to promote positive change.
- Lead the management and assessment of complex service users, applying evidence-based frameworks to inform decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance multi-disciplinary approaches and influence complex decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement quality assurance initiatives to drive improvement in practice, with a focus on managing high-risk service users.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Advanced knowledge of theoretical frameworks underpinning assessment and treatment, including Risk-Needs-Responsivity principles.
- Significant experience in applying evidence-based psychometric and structured professional judgement tools in justice settings.
- Strong understanding of treatment modalities for complex populations, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Trauma Informed Care.
