Job Description

As a key member of our project team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our railcar program with METRONET. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative organization that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have hands-on operational experience and a strong background in EHS, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining EHS initiatives and codes of practice. They will be responsible for assisting Managers with the development and ongoing review of EHS Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements, and Safe Operating Procedures. Additionally, they will advise key stakeholders on EHS and risk management techniques, methods, and controls across all aspects of the project.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Holds a qualification in HSE and has demonstrable experience as an HSE Advisor, Specialist, or Coordinator.
  • Has a background in manufacturing, rail, supply chain, logistics, construction, or safety-critical environments.
  • Is able to work and travel to sites independently, prioritize demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and follow-through within a fast-paced environment.
  • Has a proven ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural setting and respectfully interact with diverse groups.
  • Can work across multiple sites, including Bellevue, Kewdale, and Nowergup.
