Medical Tutor Position

Job Description:

As a medical tutor, you will work with aspiring healthcare professionals from China to prepare them for licensing exams. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of these individuals and help shape the next generation of healthcare practitioners.

Position Overview

  • 100% online working from the comfort of your own home allows for flexibility in scheduling.
  • Teaching evening hours accommodates students' schedules.

Requirements

  • Having passed part 1 or both part 1 and part 2 of AMC exam is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English (preferably) but not essential.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills are crucial.
  • Availability during evening hours for online tutoring sessions is required.
  • Comfortable working from home environment is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive guidance on exam content, strategies, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Support students in understanding and mastering relevant concepts through lecture slides and MCQs and other educational materials.
  • Foster a positive and engaging online learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to aid their growth.

Qualifications

  • Succesful passing of part one and/or part 2 of AMC exams is a must.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
