**Job Overview**

This role involves providing direct patient and family care in the setting of Specialist Clinics—Orthopaedics. As a senior physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing and managing common musculoskeletal problems including surgical and non-surgical cases such as knee injuries, scoliosis, gait and posture concerns, hip dysplasia, and clubfoot (Ponseti technique).

The physiotherapist in the Orthopaedic Assessment Clinic (OAC) provides a screening role to facilitate timely and high-quality orthopaedic care for children.

Working collaboratively with consultants, the successful candidate will provide assessment and management of children with common musculoskeletal presentations, work autonomously as a key member of a great team, and provide a screening role to facilitate timely and high-quality orthopaedic care for children.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with extensive clinical experience with specific interest in paediatric orthopaedic care preferred
  • Professional registration with AHPRA
  • Satisfy the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Continuing Professional Development and Recency of Practice Guidelines
  • Uphold the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct
