Legislative Reform Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and reviewing complex policy issues, identifying emerging trends and developing evidence-based solutions to mitigate risks.

This role involves providing expert policy advice and information to relevant stakeholders to facilitate the development and implementation of key legislative reforms.

The ideal candidate will have a law degree or equivalent and sound knowledge of Commonwealth and State law, government functions and the legislative process.

  • Analyse and review complex legislative and justice policy issues, identify emerging trends and develop evidence-based solutions.
  • Provide expert policy advice and information to stakeholders to facilitate reform.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong research and analysis skills, advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities within a high-pressure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policy solutions to address complex legislative and justice issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to inform decision making.

Requirements:

  • A law degree or equivalent.
