About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inventory Planner to join our Supply Chain team at Pet Circle. As an Inventory Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth facilitation of goods from our supply base into our Fulfillment Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily demand is placed on suppliers.
  • Develop and implement demand strategies.
  • Active monitoring and evaluation of the OOS report.
  • Provide and implement recommendations and actions to ensure we address OOS causes.
  • Manage workflow processes, timing, and ensure replenishment activities are efficient.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in domestic freight, replenishment ordering, and demand planning within a high SKU B2C environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to work internally with a Supply Chain or Merchandising team as well as externally with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Exceptional understanding of Inventory and Supply Planning principles including Safety Stock, Lead Times, MOQs, OOS, Stock on Hand, etc.
  • Highly motivated, action-oriented individual who is ready to take on responsibility and make independent decisions.
  • High level attention to detail, planning, organisational, and administrative skills with demonstrated effectiveness in developing systems, processes, and procedures to prioritise tasks and ensure achievement of goals and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in using data-driven analysis to identify and solve problems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and some exposure to ERP and Planning tools (ideally NetSuite and Anaplan or Relex).
