Elevate your career in the fast-paced airline catering industry as a Catering Attendant at our world-class facility in Brisbane Airport.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work on both morning and afternoon shifts, specialising in packing and preparing food trolleys and equipment for our customer airline Jetstar.
  • Safely handle, clean, count, sort and pack items such as glassware, dishes, cutlery, napkins and other sundry supplies.
  • Perform all tasks and duties assigned with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use machinery safely once trained, in your designated area.
  • Thoroughly understand and implement quality control techniques to meet customer specifications per flight briefing sheets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance and productivity in your work areas.
  • Raise any discrepancies in stock take if any items are missing.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Availability for afternoon shifts on a 7-day roster (5 on 2 off), full-time 38hr week.
  • Experience of working in a food distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills essential.
  • Access to reliable or own mode of transport.
  • Strong numerical skills (accuracy counting is vital).
  • Sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety and Basic Hygiene rules.
  • HACCP experience preferred but not essential.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy open plan kitchen, warehouse and storage.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
