Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance Reliability team on Afternoon Shift or Night Shift at our factory in Australia.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Electrician who is passionate about working in FMCG manufacturing. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and continuity of our factory, which produces some of Australia's most iconic food and beverages, including Up & Go, So Good, and Weet-Bix.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain industrial equipment, including diagnosing faults, production breakdowns, and operating settings using PLC programming systems.
  • Servicing and maintaining industrial equipment, as well as being familiar with computerised Maintenance System.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding equipment and maintenance issues.
  • Hold Boiler Operating qualification or be willing to obtain it.
  • Contribute to providing both food (HACCP) and people safety.
  • Holding a forklift licence or be willing to obtain it.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in the Electrical Trade.
  • Experience within the FMCG manufacturing industry (preferred).
  • Able to work independently and proactively on preventive maintenance schedules, attend breakdowns, or other assigned tasks.
