Medical Officer Job Opportunity in Rural Australia

We are seeking applications for Senior Resident Medical Officer (SRMO) positions in our emergency departments. These postgraduate year 3+ roles will be based in Port Macquarie and Kempsey.

Job Overview:

As a SRMO, you will work closely with a dynamic team of ED consultants who are dedicated to teaching and mentoring. You will have opportunities to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a range of specialties, including ICU, Anaesthetics, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, and Ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Postgraduate year 3 or above qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Visa eligibility
