Senior CAD Designer Specialist

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled CAD designer to join our team and take on the challenge of modeling existing and proposed structures using provided architectural plans.
- The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating detailed shadow diagrams at required time intervals, performing sunlight access calculations for neighbouring private open space, and developing swept path diagrams to assess vehicle manoeuvrability within and around proposed development sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will incorporate all relevant site elements (fences, landscaping, adjacent buildings) into their designs.
- They will ensure that all outputs are accurate and compliant with planning permit requirements.
- Effective communication is essential, with regular updates to the team regarding timelines, file requirements, and clarifications.
- Delivering high-quality, professional outputs within agreed deadlines is crucial.
Requirements:
- Strong background in CAD design, 3D modelling, and drafting is essential.
- Experience preparing shadow diagrams and sunlight access assessments is necessary.
- Developing swept path analyses and understanding vehicle manoeuvrability standards is critical.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is required.
