Assembly Specialist

The role of an Assembly Specialist involves working with hardware to assemble uPVC door and window frames. This includes coupling hardware to uPVC door and window frames, fitting fly screens to uPVC windows, and communicating with the production team on inventory/ stock on hand.

This position requires strong organizational skills, as you will be working in a fast-paced production environment. You must be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coupling hardware to uPVC door and window frames
  • Fitting fly screens to uPVC windows
  • Communication with the production team on inventory/ stock on hand
  • Working in an organized manner
  • Working in the hardware department on the production floor
  • Using automatic hardware tables
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in window and door manufacturing, preferably in a similar assembly setting. You must also have basic literacy and numeracy skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate a great work ethic and teamwork skills.

In addition to these qualifications, you will need to be competent with power tools and hand tools, such as drills and saws.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. We do not require any weekend work or overtime, but you may be required to work extra hours during peak periods.

You will be based at our Keysborough, VIC location, and must have a reliable means of transportation to commute to work.
