About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Program Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and contribute to the delivery of high-quality aged care services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Development and Implementation: Coordinate, implement, and roll out lifestyle programs to engage and entertain our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Lifestyle Coordinator to develop and refine lifestyle programs, and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, facility team members, volunteers, and local community groups.
  3. Risk Management and Documentation: Manage and document risk for the facility, ensuring a commitment to continuous improvements and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
  4. Facility Celebrations and Events: Organize and coordinate individual and facility celebrations, such as birthdays, Christmas, and other special occasions, to create a sense of community and belonging among residents.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of care and social environment provided to residents.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1 year's experience in a similar role, preferably in aged care or a related field.
  2. Skills and Qualities: Innate empathy for residents, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to 'think on your feet,' IT and tech-savviness, and a confident team player with a positive approach.
  3. Certifications and Clearances: Valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to apply).
