Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Moran Health Care Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality dining experience for our residents.

• Support the day-to-day delivery of food services at our facility
• Prepare and cook a variety of meals using our recipes and menus
• Liaise with the Chef Manager to ensure residents' dietary needs are met
• Order and manage food stock, minimizing waste and controlling budgets
• Participate in our Food Safety Program and maintain high standards of food services
• Responsible for the ordering, storage, and labeling of food
• Prepare and present food within set time frames

• Experience in commercial catering or food service
• TAFE-approved Commercial Cookery Course or equivalent
• Certificate in Food Handling and Hygiene
• Familiarity with state Food Handling Regulations/HACCP
• Organizational and management ability
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Current Police Check
• Valid full Working Rights
