Job Title: Planning and Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Planning and Logistics Coordinator to play a vital role in our supply chain operations.

About the Role:

  • Develop, implement, and manage plans to ensure the smooth operation of our supply chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to delegate tasks and optimize resource allocation.
  • Work within established parameters and guidelines.
  • Identify and resolve inventory shortages through efficient scheduling.
  • Ensure timely response to customer requests, balancing capacity and material availability.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and industrial hygiene.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of planning strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for problem resolution and prioritization.
  • Monitor workload and team calendars to maintain departmental balance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Achieve and maintain service level targets.
  • Manage obsolescence control through risk assessment and inventory management tools.
  • Provide mid-to-long-term forecasts to procurement.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly status reports, including COOISPI schedules, OTS, and past due purchase orders.
  • Review customer orders for raw material resale demands, create repack process orders, and release to production.
  • Resolve or escalate order-related issues with production, customer care, and regional/global affiliates.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a planning team.
  • Lead the team to ensure all tasks are performed, document performance, provide ongoing feedback, and address behavior and job performance issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain planning or logistics coordination.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software systems.
