Job Title: Service Centre Operations Manager

The primary function of the Service Centre Operations Manager is to oversee daily operations, ensuring targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery are consistently achieved.

This leadership role involves executing global standards locally while influencing future strategies and operational improvements. The position requires a key player who will directly impact business success, customer satisfaction, and our journey towards sustainability.

The successful candidate will lead daily operations, develop streamlined processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity, drive financial performance through effective planning, cost control, and budget management, foster a high-performance team culture, empower and coach employees to deliver results, build strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to support business goals, ensure compliance with all HSE requirements, embedding a Zero Harm culture, champion continuous improvement initiatives, using lean and agile methodologies to deliver measurable gains.

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • A degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Trade Certification.
  • Proven leadership experience in operations management (manufacturing, repairs, or mining services preferred).
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of delivering operational results.
  • Knowledge of mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry equipment (experience with FLSmidth products is a plus).
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
